BAFTA NOMINATIONS ARE ANNOUNCED!

The BAFTAs nominations were announced today! We’re thrilled to see films featuring echo client work shining in the ‘Outstanding British Film’ category:

• BIRD, featuring Costume Design by Alex Bovaird.

• THE OUTRUN with work by Production Designer Andy Drummond and Hair + Makeup Designer Kat Morgan (with another nomination for ‘Leading Actress’)

• HARD TRUTHS featuring Hair + Makeup Design by Nora Robertson (with another nomination for ‘Leading Actress’)

We’re also celebrating nominations in ‘Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director, or Producer’ for:

• HOARD with work by Production Designer Bobbie Cousins.

• MONKEY MAN, co-edited by Tim Murrell.

• SISTER MIDNIGHT, editing by Napoleon Stratogiannakis.

Our fingers are crossed for the official ceremony on Feb 16th!

37TH EUROPEAN FILM AWARDS NOMINEES ANNOUNCED!

The 37th European Film Award nominees have been announced today featuring Echo’s client work!

HOARD has been nominated for the European Discovery – Prix FIPRESCI award. Directed by Luna Carmoon, starring Joseph Quinn and Saura Lightfoot Leon, HOARD features brilliant Production Design by echo’s Bobbie Cousins.

Andrea Arnold has been nominated for Best Director for BIRD, which featured Costume Design by echo's Alex Bovaird.

• TWO STRANGERS TRYING NOT TO KILL EACH OTHER directed by Manon Ouimet and Jacob Perlmutter features editing by echo’s Josh Mallalieu.

The nominees for Best British Short are:

• DELIVERY directed by Ben Lankester featuring Cinematography by Rachel Clark and Editing by echo's Sacha Szwarc.
