Following its Cannes premiere, Alison McAlpine’s PERFECTLY A STRANGENESS will present the North American premiere at day two of TIFF today!

As part of TIFF’s Short Cuts programme, the silent short film follows three donkeys travelling across a vast and grandeur dessert on a journey of discovery with stellar Cinematography by echo’s Nicolas Canniccioni!

Earning a ‘Best Film’ nomination at this year’s upcoming San Sebastián International Film Festival, Laura Carreira’s debut feature ON FALLING will also be premiering today!

Produced by Sixteen Films and featuring Production Design by echo’s Andy Drummond and Hair + Make-up Designer, Kat Morgan.

The drama centres on Aurora, a Portuguese worker navigating life in a Scottish warehouse.

The wait is finally over - STARVE ACRE has officially hit UK screens today!

Directed by Daniel Kokotajlo and based on the novel by Andrew Michael Hurley, this highly anticipated British horror film was selected for the London Film Festival.

'WILLIAM TELL', 'BIRD' AND 'ON BECOMING A GUINEA FOWL' SCREENING AT TIFF TODAY!

The 49th edition of the Toronto Film Festival commences today!

Today’s programme is set to kick the festival off with a bang featuring several echo client films!

WILLIAM TELL will be hosting its world premiere featuring an all-star cast including Sir Ben Kingsley and Jonathan Pryce. The epic historical drama is written and directed by Nick Hamm with Editing by Yan Miles, ACE!

Andrea Arnold’s Canadian premiere of BIRD (pictured) is also on the programme for today, with Costume Design by Alex Bovaird. Following its premiere at this year’s Cannes, the compelling drama stars Barry Keoghan, Franz Rogowski and James Nelson Joyce.

After winning the ‘Best Director’ prize at Cannes, Rungano Nyoni’s ON BECOMING A GUINEA FOWL will also hold its North American premiere. With Cinematography by David Gallego ADFC and Production Design by Malin Lindholm.

BFI LONDON FILM FESTIVAL 2024 ANNOUNCES NOMINEES FOR BEST FILM AWARD!

The BFI has unveiled the Official Competition lineup for this year's London Film Festival, showcasing a diverse selection of films vying for the 2024 Best Film Award.

Among the contenders is Bring Them Down, directed by Christopher Andrews, with cinematography by Nick Cooke and production design by Fletcher Jarvis. Also in the competition is The Extraordinary Miss Flower, helmed by directors Jane Pollard and Ian Forsyth, featuring costumes by Susie Coulthard.

A festival favourite, On Becoming a Guinea Fowl, directed by Rungano Nyoni, is also in the running, with cinematography by David Gallego (ADFC) and production design by Malin Lindholm.
