CANNES LIONS 2025 WINNERS!

Big congrats to all the winners and nominees re: the Cannes Lions 2025 awards.

The Film Grand Prix was awarded to Steve Roger’s “Considering What? - Paris Paralympics 2024” with echo’s Jon Henson contributing as Production Designer.

“Libresse – Never Just a Period”  directed by Lucy Forbes earned the BRONZE recognition with Production Design by echo’s Alex Holmes and 2nd Unit Cinematography by Jo Jo Lam.

A huge congratulations goes to Alex Holmes for winning the Bronze Film Craft at Cannes Lions for Production Design on “The Shoemaker” by Steve Rogers.

'THE EXTRAORDINARY MISS FLOWER' IS SET TO RELEASE IN UK AND IRELAND CINEMAS TODAY!

We’re excited to see the release of ‘THE EXTRAORDINARY MISS FLOWER’ this month, featuring Costume Design by echo client Susie Coulthard.

Directed by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard, this film tells the story of Geraldine Flower and the discovery of a suitcase full of love letters from the 1960s and 1970s, inspiring the acclaimed Icelandic singer/songwriter Torrini to record a new album.

This lyrical documentary film, starring Emilíana Torrini and Caroline Catz and featuring narration by Richard Ayaode and Nick Cave, will be released in cinemas across the UK and Ireland on May 9th.

Take a glimpse at Samuel Abrahams’ feature directorial debut ‘LADY’ with Cinematography by echo’s Korsshan Schlauer and Production Design by Agnieszka Debska. With the film currently in post-production, we are so excited for the final cut with Editing by echo’s Josh Mallalieu!

Shot entirely on location at Somerleyton Hall in Suffolk, this mockumentary film follows a fictional aristocrat, played by FLEABAG’S Sian Clifford, as she desperately attempts to draw attention to her lavish life. After fooling a begrudging director into documenting her every move, this narcissistic character finds herself in a supernatural twist of fate when she starts to become invisible.

We can’t wait to see how this intriguing screenplay written by Abrahams and Miranda Campbell Bowling plays out on screen.

Huge congratulations to echo’s Sarah Brewerton and her colleagues on winning a BAFTA TV Craft Award last night for ‘THE VELVETEEN RABBIT’ in the ‘Children’s Craft Team' category!

This spellbinding short TV film, with work by Sarah (as Editor), Tom Bidwell (Screenwriter and Co-Executive Producer) and Jennifer Perrott (Director), makes for a beautifully heartfelt story of a timid young boy and his love for his toy rabbit.

Congratulations to all the nominees whose brilliant work was recognised by this prestigious show, especially echo’s fantastic Luke Dunkley who was up for ‘Editing: Fiction’ for his work on ‘THE DAY OF THE JACKAL’.
