THE 2025 SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL LINE-UP HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED!
The line-up for the upcoming 2025 Sundance Film Festival has been revealed and we’re excited to see several echo client work featured!
BUBBLE AND SQUEAK (pictured) written and directed by Evan Twohy will have its world premiere within the ‘US Dramatic Competition’.
Featuring Costume Design by Frank Gallacher, the romantic road comedy stars Himesh Patel, Sarah Goldberg, Steven Yeun, Dave Franco, and Matt Berry.
Bryn Chainey’s debut RABBIT TRAP will also premiere at the festival within the ‘Midnight’ category.
The psychological horror stars Dev Patel and Rosy McEwen, with Editing by Sam Sneade and Hair + Make-Up Design by Natasha Lawes.
As part of Sundance’s ‘Premiere’ category is THE BALLAD OF WALLIS ISLAND directed by James Griffiths.
Starring Carey Mulligan, Tom Basden and Tim Key with Production Design by Alexandra Toomey.
THE THINGS YOU KILL, written, directed and produced by Alireza Khatami will be premiering within the ‘World Dramatic Competition’. With Cinematography by Bartosz Swiniarski and a cast featuring Ekin Koç, Erkan Kolçak Köstendil, Hazar Ergüçlü, Ercan Kesal.
The film festival will take place in Utah next year from January 23rd to February 2nd!

A NIGHT AT THE BAFTAS TV AWARDS 2024!
The 2024 BAFTAs TV Awards winners were announced last night and we were proud to see echo client work within the winning lineup!
TOP BOY (pictured) was a big winner, taking home ‘Best Drama Series’ and ‘Best Supporting Actress’ for Jasmine Jobson.
A massive shoutout to the excellent work featured on TOP BOY by echo artists: Production Designer Alexandra Toomey; Costume Designer Natalie Humphries; DoP Federico Cesca (on episodes 1-4), and Editor Matteo Bini (on episodes 5 + 6).
LOCKERBIE also won ‘Best Factual Series’ at last night’s ceremony with stunning cinematography by echo’s Will Pugh.
THE 2024 RTS NOMINATIONS ARE HERE!
We’re glad to see that TOP BOY (pictured) is up for Best Drama Series with three other nominations under its belt. With echo artists work by Production Designer Alexandra Toomey, Costume Designer Natalie Humphries, DoP Federico Cesca (episodes 1-4) and Editor Matteo Bini (on episodes 5 + 6).
THE GOLD is also in the running for Best Drama Series with episodes 1, 3 and 4 shot by Stuart Bentley BSC and episode 4 edited by Mark Keady
EXTRAORDINARY S1 acquired 2 noms featuring Costume Design by Buki Ebiesuwa and lens work also by Carlos Catalan on episodes 1-4. Akin to TIME featuring Editor Sacha Szwarc on episodes 1-3 and NOLLY with Editor Sarah Brewerton on episodes 1-3.
Another nominee is RAIN DOGS with episodes 1, 2, 7 and 8 lensed by DoP Carlos Catalan.
